Search
On most pages in the merchant console, you will see the general Search bar in the top right hand corner of the screen.
There are a few different ways to search the console. You can search within a certain field, or you can enter a general search parameter and the system will all available fields for that information and provide you with results that match your search.
Available Fields
The following fields are available for search:
- Amount
- Authcode
- Invoice
- TransactionID
- TransactionKey
- Cardholder
- Batch ID
- Order ID
- Name
- First Name
- Last Name
- Company
- Product ID
- SKU
- Product Name
General Search
To do a general search of all fields, just start typing in the search bar. A dropdown menu will appear with results matching your search. This dropdown will be broken into 3 sections:
- Customers
- Products
- Transactions
Each of these sections are broken down into sub-sections of the fields listed in the available fields section.
As you can see in the image above, not all fields will show for every search. You will only see fields that return a match for the search parameter you entered.
If you see the object you are looking for in the dropdown menu, you can click on it, and the system will take you directly there.
Sometimes, the dropdown menu can't fit all of the results, and after a few results it will say 'More (Field Name Here): (Total Results Here)'. You can see an example of this below.
In this instance, there are a few different options. First you can click on the 'More (Field Name Here): (Total Results Here)' option and it will take you to a list to the rest of the results which match that field.
You could also just hit the 'Enter' key which will take you to a list of ALL objects (customers, transactions and products) that have the search parameter you entered in one of the available fields. On the search results page, each object is listed in its own tab as seen below.
Search By Field
If you would like to only search for your parameter within a certain field, there is a way to do that. You simply type the '@' symbol followed by the field you wish to search (it must be one of the available fields listed above), and then the search parameter.
The dropdown menu and search results will work the same way as the method above, except for that they will not be split into sections (Customers, Products, or Transactions), like they are in General Search.
